John was born and raised in Southern New Jersey in Galloway Township located just outside of Atlantic City. He played football, basketball and golf in high school, and ultimately decided to further his academic and athletic career in golf at Greensboro College in Greensboro, NC. After playing 4 years on the golf team, he graduated with a Business and Economics degree. While in college, he began working with Troon at Seaview Golf Club in Galloway, NJ. After graduation, he began his career as an assistant golf professional going seasonally between Seaview Golf Club and Tiburón Golf Club. In 2019, John was promoted to Tournament Coordinator at Tiburón where he managed resort events and activity for the two seasons before being promoted to HEad Golf Professional. John has been with Troon for the last nine years and with Tiburón the past five. He brings an excellent knowledge of tournament operations, customer service, and member relations to our golf department.
